Kelowna

— 6 nights

Orchard City

At the heart of British Columbia's wine country, Kelowna is at once both urban and rural, featuring a modern downtown encircled by picturesque hills carpeted with vineyards and orchards.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ancient Hill Estate Winery and Off The Grid Organic Winery. We've included these beaches for you: Three Mile Beach and Kal Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Kelowna: Olive Us Oil and Vinegar Tasting Room (in Vernon), Penticton (Munson Mountain, Upper Bench Estate Winery, &more) and Intrigue Wines (in Lake Country). There's more to do: do a tasting at Rollingdale Winery and indulge your taste buds at Food & Drink.

British Columbia's wine country, Okanagan Valley benefits from a dry and sunny climate, which makes it a favorable place for both growing fruit and taking outdoorsy vacations. Scenic vineyards and photogenic hillside orchards aren't the only reason to take a trip to Okanagan Valley, as this area also boasts many golf courses, hiking trails, sandy beaches, and plenty of snow in the winter for those looking to indulge in some colder-weather sports. The area's largest city, Kelowna provides a good base for Okanagan Valley holidays, offering all the amenities of a big city without actually being one.
