Although it contains Europe's largest Gothic castle, Malbork remains a small rural town overlooked by the majority of Poland's foreign visitors.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Malbork: Pelplin Abbey (in Pelplin), Olsztyn (Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Olsztyn, Park Zamkowy, & more) and Vistula River Museum (in Tczew). Next up on the itinerary: step into the grandiose world of Muzeum Zamkowe w Malborku, contemplate the long history of Stutthof Concentration Camp, take some stellar pictures from Archcathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Andrew, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Gothic Cathedral of Pelpin.
