Known for being the location of Sindhudurg Fort, Malvan offers tourists a pleasant beach getaway that boasts historic sites and peaceful temples.
Visit Achra Beach and Tarkarli Beach for their historical value. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Wairy Ubhatwadi Beach and Kolamb Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Malvan: Bhogwe Beach (in Kudal) and Devbagh Beach (in Tarkarli). Vengurla is a town in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, India just north of Goa. Get a sense of the local culture at Vengurla Light House and Sargeshwar Shiva Temple. Popular historic sites such as Khavane Beach and Yashwant Gad Fort are in your itinerary. Change things up with a short trip to Shiroda Beach in Shiroda (about 40 minutes away).
