Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Samurai Armor Photo Studio and Akasaka Palace (State Guesthouse). Change things up with these side-trips from Tokyo: Yokohama (Yokohama Intl Passenger Terminal & Yokohama Negishi Forest Park), Fujiyoshida (Arakura Fuji Sengen Jinja, Chureito Pagoda, &more) and Fujikawaguchiko-machi (Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum & Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba). There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, get curious at National Museum of Nature and Science, head off the coast to Enoshima Island, and enjoy breathtaking views from Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) Terminal No2 Observation Deck.

Make your Tokyo itinerary with Inspirock to find out what to see and where to go.

If you are flying in from The Netherlands, the closest major aiports are Tokyo Haneda International Airport, Narita International Airport and Ibaraki Airport / JASDF Hyakuri Air Base. In May, daily temperatures in Tokyo can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to Kyoto.
