Sitting on flat land between two chains of scenic mountains and close to the Tigris River, Duhok has experienced a growth in tourism in recent years.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sun): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Zawa Mountain, tour the pleasant surroundings at Azadi Park, and then browse the different shops at Mazi Plus Mall.

Karbala is a city in central Iraq, located about 100km southwest of Baghdad, and a few miles east of Lake Milh. Start off your visit on the 20th (Sat): contemplate the long history of Shrine of the two sons of Muslim Ibn Aqeel, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Al Abbas Holy Shrine, then make a trip to Imam Hussain's Shrine, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Tal Al Zainabeiah site.
