Manama, Bahrain to Baghdad is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and car; or take a bus. Traveling from Manama in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Baghdad, with lows of 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Thu) so you can travel to Nasiriyah.

Karbala is a city in central Iraq, located about 100km southwest of Baghdad, and a few miles east of Lake Milh. Explore Karbala's surroundings by going to Babylon (in Al Hillah), Najaf (Wadi Al-Salaam Cemetery & Shrine Amir al-mo'menin Ali bin Abi Talib peace be upon him) and Kufa (Maytham al-Tammar Shrine, House of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb, & more). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Imam Hussain's Shrine and take in the spiritual surroundings of Al Abbas Holy Shrine.

You can do a combination of flight and car from Nasiriyah to Karbala in 2.5 hours. Another option is to drive. In October in Karbala, expect temperatures between 39°C during the day and 20°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Erbil.
