Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Museum PASIFIKA and Geger Temple are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step off the beaten path and head to Melasti Beach and Balangan Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Joe's Gone Diving (in Sanur), Ungasan (Blue Point Beach & Green Bowl Beach) and Off-Road Tours (in Nusa Dua).
