Singapore, Singapore to Sapporo is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Sapporo. Traveling from Singapore in May, expect Sapporo to be much colder, temps between 17°C and 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Mon) to allow time to take a train to Asahikawa.

You can drive from Asahikawa to Tsurui-mura in 5 hours. Traveling from Asahikawa in May, Tsurui-mura is slightly colder at night with lows of 8°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Fri) so you can go by car to Rausu-cho.

A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Motomachi and Kyu Soma-tei. Popular historic sites such as Trappist Monasteries and Goryokaku Park are in your itinerary. Step out of Hakodate to go to Nanae-cho and see Onuma Park Walking Path, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hakodate Orthodox Church, enjoy breathtaking views from Goryokaku Tower, contemplate the long history of The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Trappistine Monasteries.

Getting from Kutchan-cho to Hakodate by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or do a combination of train and flight. In May, daytime highs in Hakodate are 18°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 16th (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
