Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Visiting Fenals Beach and Lloret Beach will get you outdoors. Get some cultural insight at Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Casa Vicens. Take a break from Barcelona with a short trip to Parish Church of Sant Roma in Lloret de Mar, about 1h 10 min away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Ciutat Vella, get engrossed in the history at Museu d'Història de Catalunya, appreciate the extensive heritage of El Barri Gòtic, and stop by El Born.
