You'll explore and learn at Louvre Museum and Musee d'Orsay. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Saint Germain des Pres Quarter and Île de la Cité. An ancient town center surrounded by medieval ramparts, Avignon is a major city of Provence and a Mediterranean city in the Vaucluse department on the left bank of the Rhône River.
Take a break from the city and head to Le Sentier des Ocres and Le Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau. Appreciate the collections at Grand Site de l'Aven d'Orgnac and Musee Departemental Arles Antique.
