As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.
Get in touch with nature at Binnenalster and Naturschutzgebiet Wittmoor. Museum-lovers will appreciate Dialog in the Dark and Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at St Nikolai Memorial, take an in-depth tour of Museum of Hamburg History, stroll the grounds of Ohlsdorf Cemetery, and look for all kinds of wild species at Niendorfer Gehege.
