Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Visit Palatine Hill and Piazza Navona for their historical value. Kids will appreciate attractions like Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, stroll the grounds of Catacombe di San Callisto, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santa Maria in Trastevere, and don't miss a visit to Roman Forum.

Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like La Croisette and Haut de Cagnes. We've included these beaches for you: Plage de Jean Blanc and Coco Beach.
