Bring the kids along to Mercedes-Benz Museum and Schloss Heidelberg. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Stuttgart: LEGOLAND Deutschland (in Gunzburg) and Rothenburg (Medieval Crime Museum (Mittelalterliches Kriminalmuseum) & Altstadt). There's lots more to do: enjoy breathtaking views from Fernsehturm Stuttgart, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Wilhelma Zoologisch-Botanischer Garten, and see the interesting displays at Porsche Museum.

Kick off your visit on the 7th (Tue): walk around Lichtentaler Allee and then find something for the whole family at Europa-Park. "Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Aiguille du Midi and Parc de Merlet. There's lots more to do: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, hit the slopes at Domaine des Planards, take in the awesome beauty at Tunnel du Mont-Blanc, and stroll through Vallee Blanche.

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Duomo di Milano and Castello Sforzesco. Get out of town with these interesting Milan side-trips: Gardaland Park (in Castelnuovo del Garda) and Arena di Verona (in Verona). There's still lots to do: admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza del Duomo.
