Windermere is the largest natural lake in England. Step out of the city life by going to Climbing Tours and Aira Force. Get some historical perspective at Sizergh Castle and St. Oswald's Church. Change things up with a short trip to The Lakes Distillery in Bassenthwaite (about 1h 15 min away).
