Cuba's capital and major commercial center, Havana manages to be very old and very modern at the same time.

Get some cultural insight at Malecón of Havana and Palacio De Los Capitanes Generales. You'll explore and learn at Church and Convent of St. Francis of Asisi and Taquechel Pharmacy Museum. Stockholm, Sweden to Havana is an approximately 16.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 6 hours traveling from Stockholm to Havana. Prepare for much warmer weather when traveling from Stockholm in February: high temperatures in Havana hover around 32°C and lows are around 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Varadero.

One of the largest resort towns in the Caribbean, Varadero boasts a 20 km (12 mi) long stretch of sand, lined with hotels and all-inclusive resorts.

On the 13th (Thu), kick back and relax at Coral Beach - Playa Coral and then kick back and relax at Varadero Beach. Traveling by car from Havana to Varadero takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle; or do a combination of train and taxi. February in Varadero sees daily highs of 32°C and lows of 19°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 14th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Trinidad.

Built on sugar and seemingly preserved in molasses, the town of Trinidad attracts visitors with its well-aged 19th century architecture and rustic charm, showcasing the sounds, scents, and sights of days gone by.

Palacio de Valle and Iglesia de San Juan Batista are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore hidden gems such as Topes de Collantes and Horseback Riding Tours. When in Trinidad, make a side trip to see Ferrer Palace in Cienfuegos, approximately 1h 25 min away. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Convento de San Francisco de Asis, tour the pleasant surroundings at Ancon Beach, take in the dramatic scenery at Parque el Cubano, and see the interesting displays at Romance Museum.

The stress of modern life feels a million miles away when you holiday on Cayo Largo, a small and unspoiled resort island off the coast of Cuba.

Kick off your visit on the 19th (Wed): admire the verdant scenery at Valle de Vinales and then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Paraiso.
