Once the feared base of pirates and heavily fortified against Norman attacks, today's coastal Saint-Malo is one of the top tourist draws.
Discover out-of-the-way places like GR 34 and La Grande Plage des Rosaires. Relax by the water at Plage de l'Ecluse and Plage du Sillon. Next up on the itinerary: take in the spiritual surroundings of Basilique St-Sauveur, contemplate the long history of Long cours et Cap Horniers (tour Solidor), tour the pleasant surroundings at Longchamps Beach, and head off the coast to Le Grand Be.

Crozon is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France. Step off the beaten path and head to Ile vierge and Plage du Goulien. Take a break from the city and head to Cap de la Chevre and Plage de Lostmarc'h. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Crozon: Enclos Paroissial de Guimiliau (in Guimiliau) and Paroisse de Pleyben Paroisse (in Pleyben).
