Ko Kut, a group of islands off the eastern shore of Thailand, remains a quiet holiday retreat with undeveloped beaches, calm waters, and a pristine jungle.
We've included these beaches for you: Klong Chao Beach and Ao Noi Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Tapao Beach and Khlong Chao Waterfalls. On the 3rd (Tue), shop like a local with Chatuchak Weekend Market, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), then wander the streets of Chinatown - Bangkok, and finally take some stellar pictures from Wat Saket. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the spiritual surroundings of Erawan Shrine (Thao Mahaprom Shrine), then identify plant and animal life at Snake Farm (Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute), and then walk around Lumpini Park.
