A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Sun): admire all the interesting features of USS Liberty Shipwreck and then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Traveling by car from Ubud to Amed takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Amed when traveling from Ubud in August, with lows around 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) so you can travel to Nusa Lembongan.

Nusa Lembongan

Traveling by combination of bus and ferry from Amed to Nusa Lembongan takes 3.5 hours. Traveling from Amed in August, expect a bit warmer with lows of 28°C in Nusa Lembongan. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Tue) early enough to travel to Seminyak.

Seminyak

A popular resort town offering a good range of tourist trips, activities, and amenities, Seminyak houses numerous tour companies providing excursions into the jungles of Bali.
Venture out of the city with trips to Jimbaran (Jimbaran Bay & Jimbaran Beach), Sanur (Big Garden Corner, Pantai Sanur, &more) and Uluwatu Temple (in Pecatu). There's still lots to do: cool off at Waterbom Bali, let the kids burn off some steam at Cubby House Kids Club, let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Tanah Lot Temple.
