Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Puerto Madero and Parque 3 de Febrero. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Recoleta and Palermo. There's lots more to do: get to know the fascinating history of Calle Defensa, admire the masterpieces at Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires, admire the landmark architecture of El Ateneo Grand Splendid, and ponder the world of politics at Casa Rosada.

Often called the "End of the World" because of its position on the southernmost tip of South America, the expanding city of Ushuaia serves as both a busy commercial port and attractive tourist hub.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo Maritimo y del Presidio de Ushuaia and Museo del Fin del Mundo. Step out of the city life by going to Tierra del Fuego National Park and Playa Larga. There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Canal Beagle, grab your bike and head to Ushuaia Bay, and stroll through Glacier Martial.

Getting from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia by flight takes about 5.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and ferry; or take a bus. Expect much colder temperatures when traveling from Buenos Aires in February; daily highs in Ushuaia reach 15°C and lows reach 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Tue) so you can travel to El Calafate.

Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Thu) so you can travel to San Carlos de Bariloche.
