Zadar

— 14 nights
Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Zadar preserves a medieval old town that is entirely contained on a peninsula.
Attractions like Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje) and Waterskiing & Jetskiing make great kid-friendly stops. Change things up with these side-trips from Zadar: Zrce Beach (in Novalja), Skradinski Buk Waterfall (in Skradin) and Sibenik (The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik, Sokolarski Raptor Centre, &more). Spend the 19th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's still lots to do: explore the ancient world of Zadar Land City Gates, contemplate the waterfront views at Milanovac Lake, make a trip to The Forum, and enjoy the sand and surf at Šimuni Beach.

To find reviews, ratings, and more tourist information, you can read our Zadar trip planning site.

If you are flying in from Slovakia, the closest major aiports are Zadar Airport, Split Airport and Pula Airport. Expect a daytime high around 36°C in July, and nighttime lows around 20°C.
