The capital of Wales, Cardiff is a very green city indeed, boasting more green space per person than any other place in the country.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Cardiff: Big Pit National Coal Museum (in Blaenavon), Folly Farm (in Begelly) and Swansea (Gower Peninsula & Cygnet Distillery). And it doesn't end there: take in the waterfront at Cardiff Bay Wales, explore the historical opulence of Cardiff Castle, head outdoors with Bay Island Voyages, and contemplate the long history of Pembroke Castle.

Porthmadog, known locally as "Port", and since 1974, rendered into Welsh from its former Anglicised form, Portmadoc, is a small coastal town and community in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd, in Wales. On the 28th (Tue), don't miss a visit to Gelert's Grave, take in the awesome beauty at Snowdon, and then stroll the grounds of St Gwyddelan's Church. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the historical opulence of Caernarfon Castle, examine the collection at Lloyd George Museum, and then steep yourself in history at Portmeirion Village.

Traveling by car from Cardiff to Porthmadog takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Expect a daytime high around 21°C in July, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Holyhead.

Holyhead is the largest town in the county of Isle of Anglesey in Wales. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Holyhead: Beaumaris Castle (in Beaumaris) and Dwyran (Anglesey Riding Centre & Llanddwyn Beach). There's lots more to do: see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, admire the natural beauty at National Trust - Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens, enjoy the sea views from South Stack Lighthouse, and identify plant and animal life at South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve.

Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Llandudno: Zip World Fforest (in Betws-y-Coed) and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (in Wrexham). There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Great Orme, contemplate the long history of Smallest House in Britain, pause for some serene contemplation at Saint Tudnos Church, and meet the residents at Welsh Mountain Zoo.
