Instead of Soviet buildings typical of Ukraine, Lviv boasts a charming Central European-style old town with World Heritage Site status.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Church of the Jesuits and Armenian street. Church of St. Andrew and Potocki Palace will appeal to history buffs. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, take an in-depth tour of Prison on Lontskogo, National Museum and Memorial to the Victims of Occupation, see the interesting displays at Beer Cultural Experience Center “Lvivarnya”, and make a trip to Dominican Cathedral.

Prepare for cooler weather when traveling from Muscat in June: high temperatures in Lviv hover around 26°C and lows are around 14°C. When traveling from Mukacheve in June, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Yaremche: temperatures range from 28°C by day to 14°C at night.
