Offering both sandy beaches packed with modern amenities and a historical town center filled with Roman ruins and Ottoman mosques, Antalya serves as one of the country's major tourist destinations.
Visiting Carya Golf Club and TahtalI Dagi will get you outdoors. Get a sense of the local culture at Olympos Ruins and Yivli Minaret Mosque. Change things up with a short trip to Cirali Beach in Cirali (about 1h 30 min away). There's still lots to do: get outside with Outdoor Activities, play a few rounds at Antalya Golf Club, examine the collection at Ataturk House & Museum, and walk around Ataturk ParkI.

You can fly from Istanbul to Antalya in 5.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In April, Antalya is somewhat warmer than Istanbul - with highs of 26°C and lows of 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Ankara.
