The fourth-largest Malay city and one of the country's premier shopping and commercial districts, Hat Yai has proved extremely popular among local tourists.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Songkhla Old Town as well as Greenway Night Market. Change things up with a short trip to Tang Kuan Hill in Songkhla (about 50 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: stroll through Thale Noi Waterbird Park, admire the landmark architecture of Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol, walk around Hatyai Municipality Park, and make a trip to Wat Hat Yai Nai.

Step out of Kanchanaburi with an excursion to Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre in Tha Sao--about 1h 25 min away. The adventure continues: zoom along the surf with River Kwai Jetski Tours, pause for some photo ops at Guan Im Sutham Temple, explore the activities along River Kwai, and examine the collection at The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre.
