A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
For shopping fun, head to Coco Sevilla or Las Moradas, Artesania Andalusi. Museum-lovers will appreciate Royal Alcázar of Seville and Seville Museum of Fine Arts. There's still lots to do: admire the landmark architecture of Plaza de Espana, stop by Productos de la Sierra, take a stroll through Barrio Santa Cruz, and take in nature's colorful creations at Parque de Maria Luisa.

You can drive from Malaga to Seville in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In September, daily temperatures in Seville can reach 30°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. On the 2nd (Mon), you're off toCordoba.

Andalucía’s thousand-year-old city, Córdoba, was once the capital of both the Roman Empire and the Moorish Kingdom, representing an alluring mix of cultural and political history.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba and Roman Bridge. Get a sense of the local culture at Jewish Quarter (Juderia) and Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos. Change things up with these side-trips from Cordoba: Parque Natural Cardena Montoro (in Cardena) and Ceramica Alcaide (in La Rambla). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Historic Centre of Cordoba, get engrossed in the history at Archaeological Ensemble of Madinat Al-Zahra, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and pause for some photo ops at Cristo de los Faroles.

Getting from Seville to Cordoba by train takes about an hour. Other options: drive; or take a bus. October in Cordoba sees daily highs of 31°C and lows of 16°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 5th (Thu) to wrap things up before traveling to Granada.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.

Getting from Cordoba to Granada by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. In October, daytime highs in Granada are 29°C, while nighttime lows are 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 9th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive back home.
