Curtea de Argeș is a city in Romania on the right bank of the Argeş River, where it flows through a valley of the lower Carpathians (the Făgăraș Mountains), on the railway from Pitești to the Turnu Roșu Pass. Venture out of the city with trips to Centrul Sportiv Ceramus (in Campulung), Cetatea Poienari (in Arefu) and Musical fountains (in Pitesti). And it doesn't end there: cruise along Transfagarasan Highway, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Princely Church of St Nicholas, admire the engineering at Vidraru Dam, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Curtea de Arges Monastery.
