Renowned for its deep gorge, the quaint, whitewashed village of Ronda has preserved its charm as an Andalusian country village.
Archaeological Ensemble of Baelo Claudia and Dona Felisa Winery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Old City and Playa Bolonia. Step out of Ronda with an excursion to Playa de la Barrosa in Chiclana de la Frontera--about 1h 55 min away. There's lots more to do: get great views at Puente Nuevo, examine the collection at Museo Lara, and do a tasting at Bodega Garcia Hidalgo.
