Well-known for the beautiful views of its famous Promenade des Anglais waterfront, Nice is an ethnically-diverse coastal port city on the French Riviera and the fifth most populated city in France.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Promenade du Paillon and SENSAS Nice. Go for a jaunt from Nice to Le Thoronet to see Abbaye du Thoronet about 1h 20 min away. Next up on the itinerary: make a trip to Place Massena, explore the historical opulence of Haut de Cagnes, take a stroll through Vieille Ville, and take some stellar pictures from Colline du Chateau overlook.
