One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Head to Myeongdong Shopping Street and Dongdaemun Marketfor some retail therapy. Do some cultural sightseeing at Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Museum of Korea. Step out of Seoul to go to Chuncheon and see Nami Island, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Insadong, shop like a local with Namdaemun Market, take in panoramic vistas at N Seoul Tower, and steep yourself in history at Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun).

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Seoul is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Malaysia Time to Korean Standard Time is 1 hour. Plan for colder temperatures traveling from Kuala Lumpur in March, with highs in Seoul at 13°C and lows at 1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Wed) to allow time to travel to Jeonju.
