One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Head to Namdaemun Market and Dongdaemun Marketfor some retail therapy. Do some cultural sightseeing at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong Shopping Street. Step out of Seoul to go to Chuncheon and see Nami Island, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Insadong, take some stellar pictures from N Seoul Tower, learn about all things military at The War Memorial of Korea, and contemplate the long history of Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun).

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Seoul is an approximately 10.5- hour combination of flight and bus. You can also fly; or drive. The time zone changes from Malaysia Time to Korean Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. In March, Seoul is colder than Kuala Lumpur - with highs of 13°C and lows of 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Wed) early enough to travel to Jeonju.
