Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Changdeokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Myeongdong Shopping Street and The War Memorial of Korea. Step out of Seoul with an excursion to Nami Island in Chuncheon--about 1h 40 min away. Next up on the itinerary: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, get great views at N Seoul Tower, wander the streets of Insadong, and contemplate the long history of Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun).

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Seoul is an approximately 10.5- hour combination of flight and bus. You can also fly; or drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Seoul due to the time zone difference. In April, Seoul is cooler than Kuala Lumpur - with highs of 20°C and lows of 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sat) to allow time to travel to Jeonju.

You can drive from Jeonju to Daegu in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. While traveling from Jeonju, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Daegu, ranging from highs of 32°C to lows of 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Mon) to allow time to take a bus to Gyeongju.

You can take a bus from Daegu to Gyeongju in an hour. Other options are to drive; or take a train. When traveling from Daegu in May, plan for cooler days in Gyeongju, with highs around 18°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Jeju.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
Head to Dongmun Market and The Islanderfor plenty of shopping. Get some cultural insight at O’sulloc Tea Museum and Seongeup Folk Village. Get out of town with these interesting Jeju side-trips: Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeju Folk Village, &more). There's still lots to do: Head underground at Manjanggul Cave, make a trip to Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road), get engrossed in the history at Jeju Folklore & Natural Museum, and take in nature's colorful creations at Hallim Park.

Traveling by combination of train and flight from Gyeongju to Jeju takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of car and ferry. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sat) early enough to travel to Busan.
