One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get some historical perspective at Gyeongbokgung Palace and Dongdaemun Gate (Heunginjimun). For shopping fun, head to Myeongdong Shopping Street or Dongdaemun Market. Step out of Seoul to go to Chuncheon and see Nami Island, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. Next up on the itinerary: don't miss a visit to Insadong, explore the activities along Cheonggyecheon Stream, surround yourself with nature on DMZ Spy Tour - Day Tours, and take an in-depth tour of National Museum of Korea.
