Slovakia's capital, Bratislava, attracts visitors for its natural beauty and rich culture, offering a plethora of landscapes, outdoor activities, historical monuments, and a stately old town.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Bratislava is an approximately 9-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and car. Terchová is a large village and municipality in the Malá Fatra mountains in the Žilina District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.HistoryThe village was established in 1580, but the area was inhabited even before its establishment. Family-friendly places like Aquapark Tatralandia and Demanovska Cave of Liberty will thrill your kids. Venture out of the city with trips to Liptovsky Mikulas (Hurricane Factory Tatralandia & Demanovska Ice Cave), Bojnice (Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel, SNM - Bojnice Castle Museum, &more) and Oravsky Podzamok (Orava Castle & Museum of Aristocratic Coaches). There's still lots to do: hike along Janosikove Diery, walk around Vrbicke pleso, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St. John the Baptist, and have fun and explore at Basement under Tower.

You can drive from Bratislava to Terchova in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train and taxi; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Bratislava in July; daily highs in Terchova reach 30°C and lows reach 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Tue) early enough to drive to Vysoke Tatry.
