Durness is a village and civil parish in the north-west Highlands of Scotland. Relax by the water at Oldshoremore Beach and Balnakeil Bay. Step off the beaten path and head to Rispond Beach and Clachtoll Beach Campsite. Venture out of the city with trips to Polin Beach (in Kinlochbervie), Ardvreck Castle (in Assynt) and Scourie Bay (in Scourie). It doesn't end there: browse the exhibits of Lotte Glob and don't miss a visit to Cairn House Gallery.

Oban is a resort town within the Argyll and Bute council area of Scotland. Kick off your visit on the 21st (Thu): don't miss a visit to McCaig's Tower, thenbrush up on your knowledge of spirits at Oban Distillery, thenlearn about all things military at Oban War & Peace Museum, and finally head off the coast to Isle of Kerrera.
