Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Inverness: Beauly (Aigas Field Centre, Loch Affric Circular Walk, & more), River Foyers (in Foyers) and Highland Falconry at The Struy Inn (in Struy).
