Coimbra, Portugal to Bucharest is an approximately 10-hour combination of train and flight. You can also do a combination of taxi and flight; or drive. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Coimbra to Bucharest due to the time zone difference. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Coimbra in June: highs in Bucharest hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Fri) early enough to catch the train to Sinaia.

Named after the monastery around which it was built, Sinaia is a mountain resort and popular holiday destination for Romanians and foreigners alike.
On the 22nd (Sat), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sinaia Monastery, then step into the grandiose world of Peles Castle, then explore the historical opulence of Pelisor Castle, and finally fly down the slopes at Predeal Ski Area. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Casino Sinaia, contemplate the long history of George Enescu Memorial House, make a trip to Manastirea Caraiman, then get outside with Cascada Urlatoarea, and finally make a trip to Crucea Caraiman.

Getting from Bucharest to Sinaia by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 24th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a bus to Brasov.

Curtea de Argeș is a city in Romania on the right bank of the Argeş River, where it flows through a valley of the lower Carpathians (the Făgăraș Mountains), on the railway from Pitești to the Turnu Roșu Pass.
