Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Change things up with a short trip to Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra (about 36 minutes away). Porto Alegre, Brazil to Lisbon is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. You'll lose 3 hours traveling from Porto Alegre to Lisbon due to the time zone difference. In August, Lisbon is somewhat warmer than Porto Alegre - with highs of 35°C and lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Evora.
