Oaxaca

— 14 nights
Capital city of the eponymous state, Oaxaca relies heavily on its colonial charm, its core a maze of tree-shaded alleys flanked by photogenic mansions, government buildings, and old churches.
Explore Oaxaca's surroundings by going to Zona Arqueologica de Mitla (in San Pablo Villa de Mitla), Isaac Vasquez Studio (in Teotitlan del Valle) and Tlacolula (Capilla Del Senor De Tlacolula & El Rey de Matatlan). There's much more to do: make a trip to Hierve el Agua, see the interesting displays at Oaxaca Textile Museum, trek along with Coyote Aventuras, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzman.
