Fes is known for museums, historic sites, spas, shopping, and parks. Taipei, Taiwan to Fes is an approximately 19.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of subway and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 8 hours traveling from Taipei to Fes. On a vacation in Rabat, a World Heritage Site and Morocco's capital, you can discover the city's long and rich history while enjoying a laidback atmosphere, less touristy than in the booming Casablanca and Marrakech.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Sat): explore the different monuments and memorials at Chellah, then make a trip to Mausoleum of Mohammad V, then admire the landmark architecture of Hassan Tower, and finally steep yourself in history at Kasbah des Oudaias. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint-Pierre, then take in nature's colorful creations at Les Jardins Exotiques de Bouknadel, and then kick back and relax at Plage de Rabat.

Traveling by car from Fes to Rabat takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Fes in August, expect nights in Rabat to be about the same, around 23°C, while days are cooler, around 23°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Casablanca.

Kick off your visit on the 13th (Mon): take in the dramatic natural features at Erg Chebbi Dunes, then wander the streets of Quartier Habous, and then make a trip to Old Medina of Casablanca. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Plage Lalla Meriem, then stroll through Ain Diab, and then admire the landmark architecture of Hassan II Mosque.

Drive from Rabat to Casablanca in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train. Traveling from Rabat in August, you will find days in Casablanca are a bit warmer (32°C), and nights are about the same (24°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Wed) to allow time to travel to Essaouira.

The laidback town of Essaouira, known for its forceful trade winds, attracts Moroccan and foreign tourists alike with its sweeping beaches and atmospheric, labyrinthine medina, a World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Medina of Essaouira and then kick back and relax at Essaouira Beach. Keep things going the next day: hike along Ecotourisme et Randonnees, then don't miss a visit to Galerie d'Art Damgaard, and then trot along with a tour on horseback.

You can do a combination of train and flight from Casablanca to Essaouira in 3 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Casablanca in August, Essaouira is little chillier at night with lows of 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Fri) so you can go by car to Marrakech.
