Valletta, Malta to Rabat is an approximately 8-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of ferry and bus. The time zone difference when traveling from Valletta to Rabat is minus 1 hour. Traveling from Valletta in March, you will find days in Rabat are a bit warmer (33°C), and nights are much warmer (33°C). Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Casablanca.

The port of Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and economic hub, represents the country's beating heart, established as a French protectorate in 1912.
Take a break from the city and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Parc de L'Hermitage. Your inner history buff will appreciate Hassan II Mosque and Ettedgui Synagogue. There's lots more to do: take an exotic tour of a safari tour, look for gifts at La galerie de l'aimance, examine the collection at Museum of Moroccan Judaism, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Synagogue Beth-El.

Getting from Rabat to Casablanca by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive. When traveling from Rabat in March, plan for a bit cooler days and much colder nights in Casablanca: temperatures range from 22°C by day to 13°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Fri) so you can travel to Laayoune.

Laayoune is the largest city of the disputed territory of Western Sahara currently administered by Morocco. Start off your visit on the 20th (Sat): take in the spiritual surroundings of Laayoune Grand mosque and then pause for some serene contemplation at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral.

Traveling from Casablanca in March, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Laayoune, with lows of 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Agadir.

On the 21st (Sun), stop by Lita, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Mosquee Mohamed V, then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Taghazout Skatepark, and finally head outdoors with Outdoor Activities.

Essaouira, Morocco

The laidback town of Essaouira, known for its forceful trade winds, attracts Moroccan and foreign tourists alike with its sweeping beaches and atmospheric, labyrinthine medina, a World Heritage Site.
On the 22nd (Mon), stop by Cooperative de bijoux Mogador Dag Souiri, look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas, and then paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour. Keep things going the next day: ride a horse along Cheval Essaouira, take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, and then see the interesting displays at Synagogue Slat Lkahal.
