Drive from Bozeman to Billings in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Bozeman in January, Billings is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 19°F. On the 8th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
