Međugorje, or Medjugorje, is a town located in the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 25km southwest of Mostar and close to the border of Croatia. Get out of town with these interesting Medjugorje side-trips: Blagaj (River Buna Spring & Blagaj tekija), Vjetrenica (in Zavala) and Mostar (Museum of Herzegovina, Old Bridge (Stari Most), & more). If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major airports are Sarajevo International Airport and Tuzla International Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 28°C, and evening lows to 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
