It's home to a diverse population and perched on the River Thames, but that's where the similarities end between the city of London in Canada, and it's much more famous British counterpart.
Attractions like Storybook Gardens and Stones 'N Bones Museum make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Kitchener (Room Escape Games & Doon Heritage Village), Grand Bend Beach (in Grand Bend) and Twin Pines Orchards & Cider House (in Thedford). The adventure continues: cast your line with Grand River Rafting Company and have some family-friendly fun at BATL - The Backyard Axe Throwing League.

Toronto to London is an approximately 2.5-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Toronto to London. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Fri) so you can travel to Winnipeg.

At the confluence of two rivers, Winnipeg started out as a small trading post in an area inhabited by indigenous tribes for thousands of years before the European arrival.

Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): take in the dramatic natural features at Big Badlands Overlook, stop by Wall Drug, then take in the dramatic natural features at Badlands Wall, and finally admire all the interesting features of Loop Road. You've now added Mount Rushmore National Memorial to your itinerary. Family-friendly places like Mammoth Site of Hot Springs and Big Thunder Gold Mine will thrill your kids.
