Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Kids will enjoy Levi Ski Resort and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Levi: Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park (in Muonio) and Powerun Adventures (in Kolari). There's still lots to do: enjoy some diversion at Kids' Land, find something for the whole family at Levi Huskypark, fly down the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort, and experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Bring the kids along to Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort and Angry Birds Activity Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Saariselka: Inari (Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus & Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center). There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Hippupuoti Gift Shop, examine the collection at Gold Prospector Museum, and wander the wide-open spaces of Saariselka Reindeer Farm.

Fly from Levi to Saariselka in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. December in Saariselka sees daily highs of -7°C and lows of -17°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Tue) early enough to drive to Rovaniemi.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kids will enjoy Santa Claus Village and Arktikum. Explore Rovaniemi's surroundings by going to Ski Resort Ritavalkea (in Pello) and Ranua Zoo (in Ranua). There's lots more to do: find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, and fly down the slopes at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy.
