An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Get some cultural insight at Rovaniemi Church and Arktikum. Discover out-of-the-way places like Nature & Wildlife Tours and Santa Claus Office. When in Rovaniemi, make a side trip to see Ranua Zoo in Ranua, approximately Ranua away. Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Visit Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church for their historical value. Get some cultural insight at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center and Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Inari: Saariselka (Shamaan Design - Lappi Shop, Lapland Safaris Saariselka, &more). It doesn't end there: trek along Juutua Nature Trail.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
