The village of Zamami-son in the western Kerama Islands spans four of the islands in the group, one of which remains uninhabited.

Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
On the 29th (Wed), enjoy the sand and surf at Minna Beach, then head outdoors with Anchihama, then kick back and relax at Akabaka Beach, and finally get outside with Sea Glass Beach. Traveling by car from Zamami-son to Onna-son takes 2.5 hours. In April, daily temperatures in Onna-son can reach 28°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) early enough to travel to Miyakojima.

Miyakojima

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
On the 1st (Fri), head outdoors with Nagamahama Beach Coast, then kick back and relax at Yonaha Maehama Beach, then enjoy the sand and surf at Toguchi no Hama, and finally get outside with Arasshisuhida Beach. Getting from Onna-son to Miyakojima by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Expect a daytime high around 29°C in April, and nighttime lows around 23°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sat) so you can travel to Ishigaki.

Ishigaki

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
