Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and Nagasaki Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims will appeal to museum buffs. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Glover Garden and Francisco de Xavier Memorial Church. Venture out of the city with trips to Nagushiyama Park (in Sasebo), Hirado (Matsuura Historical Museum & Temple and the Church Scenery) and Karatsu (Nijino Matsubara & Onsen Resorts). There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of Nagasaki Peace Park, pause for some serene contemplation at Ōura Church, make a trip to World Peace Symbol Zone, and stop by Shinchi Chinatown.
