Sydney, Australia to Tokyo is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Sydney to Tokyo due to the time zone difference. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Sydney in May: high temperatures in Tokyo hover around 28°C and lows are around 19°C. The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Get some cultural insight at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle. Kinkaku-ji and Osaka Castle will appeal to history buffs. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Kyoto: Dotonbori (in Osaka) and Todai-ji Temple (in Nara). Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Fri): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then browse the different shops at AEONMALL OKINAWA RYCOM, then look for gifts at Onna Station Nakayukui Market, and finally explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo. Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
