Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Change things up with a short trip to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama (about 30 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, enjoy breathtaking views from Tokyo Skytree, take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, and visit Odaiba.

Sydney, Australia to Tokyo is an approximately 13.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Sydney to Tokyo. Traveling from Sydney in November, expect Tokyo to be slightly colder, temps between 19°C and 11°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Thu) to allow enough time to take a train to Kanazawa.

Getting from Tokyo to Kanazawa by train takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: fly; or drive. In November in Kanazawa, expect temperatures between 17°C during the day and 8°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

Start off your visit on the 5th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sōfuku-ji Temple, contemplate the long history of Glover Garden, see the interesting displays at Dejima, then stroll through Nagasaki Peace Park, then take an in-depth tour of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, and finally pause for some photo ops at Hypocenter of Atomic Bombing. Keep things going the next day: head off the coast to Hashima Island, enjoy breathtaking views from Inasayama Observation Deck, take in the awesome beauty at Mt. You can take a train from Hiroshima to Nagasaki in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Nagasaki can reach 13°C, while at night they dip to 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
