Pompeii

Pompeii has been a tourist destination for more than 250 years.
On the 6th (Mon), admire the landmark architecture of Villa dei Misteri and then contemplate the long history of Pompeii Archaeological Park. On the 7th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: learn about winemaking at Le Vigne di Raito and then get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour.

Auckland, New Zealand to Pompeii is an approximately 30-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of bus, flight, and train. Traveling from Auckland to Pompeii, you'll gain 11 hours due to the time zone difference. Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Wed): add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, kick back and relax at Lido di Ravello, then enjoy the sand and surf at Lido Capo di Conca, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Sant'Andrea, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cloister del Paradiso.
